Cntxt Labs (pronounced “context”)
A software company, based in New Zealand the most beautiful place in the world.
These cover Levo for Mac, sold by Cntxt Limited, a New Zealand company. Last updated 30 October 2026.
Levo runs on your Mac. It looks at your disk, memory and running apps there, and what it finds stays there. There is no Levo account and no analytics.
A few things do leave your Mac:
The licence check. When you activate a licence, and from time to time after that, Levo checks it with Polar. It sends your licence key, the activation’s id, and a label for this Mac: its name and a short hash of its hardware id.
The price. Levo fetches the current price from our price server.
Free cleanups. Each Mac gets two free cleanups. Levo keeps the count on your Mac and a copy on our price server, filed under a salted hash of the Mac’s hardware id, never the id itself, so reinstalling doesn’t reset it.
Updates. Levo checks cntxtlabs.co for new versions.
Your agent. For suggestions, Levo runs the agent command-line tool you chose, such as Claude Code or Codex, on your Mac. The agent reads file and folder names, sizes and similar details through Levo’s read-only tools, and sends what it reads to its own provider, under your account with that provider and its terms. Levo keeps your protected folders out of its reach, and which agent to use is up to you.
Payments go through Polar, the merchant of record for Levo. Polar takes your payment and keeps the details it needs, under Polar’s privacy policy. We don’t see your card details.
We don’t sell or share anything about you.
A Levo licence is a lifetime licence for up to 2 Macs, paid once, with no subscription. It is yours to use, not to resell or share beyond those Macs. Watching your Mac and seeing suggestions are free; cleaning needs the licence after the two free cleanups.
Polar sells Levo as the merchant of record, so your purchase is with Polar under its terms. Refunds are handled through Polar. If something isn’t right, email us and we’ll help.
Levo cleans only what you tick, or what you set Auto mode to clean. Check what’s ticked before you clean: some of what Levo removes can’t be restored.
Before Auto mode turns on, you accept this: “Auto mode deletes files without asking you first, so be careful. Review what’s ticked before you turn it on. Items Levo removes directly, like caches and build files, can’t be restored; your own files go to the Trash. Levo is not responsible for deleted files.”
Levo is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the same extent, Cntxt Limited is not liable for lost files or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for Levo. Nothing here limits rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other laws that can’t be excluded.
These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and the courts of New Zealand decide any dispute. We may update them; the date above shows the latest.
